Virtual reality pavilion

Location: St. Petersburg

2018

The VR pavilion consists of 20 modules - dark rooms equipped for immersion in virtual reality. The modules are made up of three levels: the first two levels occupy VR-rooms, on the third there is a server room and a balcony-platform. The levels are connected by open staircases and an amphitheater, which makes the space multifunctional - in this part, you can host various events with video displays and presentations.

The arrangement of the modules gives the pavilion plasticity, but at the same time it deliberately reports some incompleteness - it can be either disassembled, built on, re-shaped, transported or installed in a new room. White, translucent fences, thin columns and minimalistic facade elements contrast with brickwork and at the same time respond to the factory past of the place.
